I have always grown up with the understanding of sex and what it means to stay abstinent. But only after finding God did I fully understand what it means to wait for the one that God has chosen for me. I am 21 and have recently gotten engaged to the man I know God has designed specifically for me. God created sex to bond a husband and wife together on a higher level of communication. A love language that doesn't complicate life with words. it's a precious gift that has been minipultaed into a "good time". The "feel good" attitude is really going to effect people later on when they finally do find the one God as chosen for them. Those that feel that they don't want to wait until marriage, they just want to find someone that they "really like" are cheating themselves out of more then good sex. Because there is no such thing as "good sex" until you are fully able to give yourself to one person. Completely freed from any guilt or uncertainty. I can't wait until I am able to become one with my husband. I want to feel as close as possible to him. I'm so thankful that God has protected me all these years for now I can truly give myself to the one I love. No looking back! ps: people always ask me "aren't you afraid that it would be any good since you're only going to be with that one guy and once your married you can't change?" my answer simple put...NO!

Being a guy in today’s world, there is so much in our society that challenges my walk in purity. Temptation is anywhere I turn. Thankfully, my purity ring is a constant reminder to the covenant I made with God. I know that when He does bless me with a Godly wife, I will be so very thankful that I remained pure. How can I begin to thank the people from purityrings.com enough?? Being a single mom with a teenage daughter, I searched for a way to instill in her the value and importance of purity. I think saving yourself for your husband (in my case) is the greatest gift you can give him. I have a purity ring and it reminds me of my promise and when my friends see it if gives me a way to share my faith. I made my choice long ago when I was young and I got this ring when I was 13 as my symbol and reminder.

I praise God for what you are doing for the youth of this world. Over the years the Lord has shown me that his "Wedding Gift" is the Wedding Night. We cannot open this gift before its time, it would be like stealing it. It will lose all that He has placed into this gift to you. Don't rob our Father the joy of giving His gift to you!

I got baptized on February 25, 1990 when I was only eight years in Okinawa, Japan. While in Okinawa, starting in 1996 I went to five Pleadge to Purity banquets with my Christian youth group and I made the pledge to my parents, God, myself, and my God-chosen future wife. I can thank God that I have kept my vow and will keep it. God has does miraculous things in my life. I had no less than 100 seizures a day from age 1 until 4 years old and I haven't had one seizure since age 4. Doctors told my parents that I wouldn't get past preschool but I graduated from high school on June 9, 2000 in the top 10% of my class. It doesn't stop there. I got accepted into a Division I Texas University and now I have transferred into another Division I school at the University of Memphis. I say this is a miracle because I got a combined score of 630 on my SAT's and 18 on the ACT but God did the rest. God has called to become a minister one day. I used to be hesitant about my faith but now living in Memphis, TN my faith is constantly tested and I'm being tempted by my co-workers all the time but I never give in and I boldly tell them why I don't do what they do. I don't know where or what I would do if God wasn't in my life. So for anyone that doesn't have a personal relationship with God then please get one. You can go to a minister or priest or someone who you know is a Christian and they will lead to Christ. I will even do it myself since God has definitely called me to become a minister.

I got saved when I was 12 in Oklahoma. My walk with God was rocky for a few years, but my junior year of high school I went back to Oklahoma and recommitted my life to Him. In 2003 I got in a relationship with someone that God allowed me to be with and we went down the wrong road. The summer after my senior year of high school I went back to Oklahoma and God spoke to me and told me I needed to get out of the relationship I was in. Don't get me wrong we were both "christians" and were in love with each other, but God called us to singleness. Although we didn't want to listen to Him we did and I thank God everyday for the pain and hurt I went through in giving my boyfriend up. God has made me a better person for my future husband, and although I wanted it to be him, I know that whoever it is will be amazing and I have committed to God, my parents, and to my future husband to say pure for him. I know that the next person I date will be the person God wants me to marry because I am waiting on Him. It's not in our time but His and every second is well worth it. Jesus Christ gave us everything the least we can give Him is everything and that is what I have done. I encourage each of you to do the same. It may hurt but the joy that comes at the end of the road is going to be absolutly amazing. Thank You God for all the hurt, pain, and suffering I have gone through.

I am probably one of the younger people on here but that does not change the fact of staying pure. I love God so much, and I know that he loves me more than I could ever imagine. I don't know how I could honestly say that I love God, my parents, the guy God has planned for me, and myself, and actually have sex, the holiest, most amazing form of love between a husband and a wife, before marriage. I thank God for Christian parents, who support me in my promise to keep myself pure. I know this world is hard and full of temptation, but I am thankful to have a savior that I can talk to. I have had a purity ring since my 13th birthday and I believe it's an awesome reminder of what God has called christian girls to save themselves for their "prince charmings". As our gifts to them we should save not only our body but our hearts. Purity rings are an incredible reminder of this. I didn't get my ring here but this is an awesome site and I pray that God will continue to use it to lead teens toward purity!

I have always believed that sex in a very secret thing, a gift you and your spouse share. You and I know there are pressures in which if we choose to overcome them, we shall understand; why they say everything has a propose or a meaning. So that's why I have devoted my body's desire for love to my future spouse.

Hi - I am 15 years old. I lost my father at the age of 10 and I was very close to my dad.after I lost him I had no male figure in my life so I ran to guys for love. That was the biggest mistake I could have ever made. I found out that the guys i dated didnt really love me that only wanted me for sex. But I was raised in a christan home and I knew that was not right. But I still I was tempted so many times and as a teenager it is very hard to stay pure. But my youth pastor got me a purity ring and I have never been the same since. Now I know I dont need a guys in my life just to make me happy becaus ei might not have an earthly father but I have a father in heaven that loves me or then anyone else in the world. I made my promise to God on 3-10-05 that I would wait and not have sex till I was married and ever since then I have not been tempted at all. Thanks God for all the work you have done in my life and in everyone elses.

Being raised to believe that I should wait until marriage to have sex was a foundation to what I feel now. Recently I gave my entire life to God and with his help have made the decision to wait until I am married to have sex. Not until now have I realized what it really meant to save myself for God and my future husband. I owe all glory to God and this is only a small token of my love for him!!!

Last year on November 6, 2005 I made a promise to God, my family, and my future husband to remain sexully pure until marriage. My parents gave me my purity ring and I really love it. Every day I wear it as my consant reminder that God is the love of my life and that I have a beautiful gift to one day give my husband. I think saving yourself is totally romantic. The more you wait the better. Having signed the pledge card was great too.

I bought the sterling silver "One Life, One Love" purity ring for my boyfriend for Valentines Day. We both have very strong beliefs that intimacy should wait for marriage. I want him to know that whether he is "waiting" for me or someone else....*HE* is worth waiting for. The purity ring is so much more beautiful than the pictures on the site. I was a little worried at first that I wasn't ordering something of quality. But when I got the ring (prompt shipping) I was so stunned at the gorgeous polished ring! It's awesome! I took a purity pledge and received one of your One Life, One Love rings about eight months ago at my church's girls missionette's ceremony. And I absolutely love it! It is a daily reminder that I don't need to be looking for a boy at this age, but that God will put the man he wants me to marry in my path when I'm ready. While I sometimes do wish I had a boyfriend like some of my friends, the ring is a constant reminder that God has a guy somewhere out there that is saving himself for me and that when the time is right we will be together.

I'm 26 and even though I don't have a purity ring yet (I will get one soon), I have kept my vow for twenty-six years. I think the reason I have been able to do so is because of my upbringing. It's a choice that only YOU can decide on, not family, not friends, not the world and not society. There were times when my friends had boyfriends I felt left out; but in that along-run I knew I was worth the wait. Since God has someone specially made for me, why should I give myself up to some guy I won't marry, never loved, and will never see again? What makes this really special is that not only does God know I'm worth the wait, whoever my future husband that God has in waiting for me knows I am too.

I know I am still young, but I know God plays a HUGE role in my life. My family is not religous and my parents are not the best people you will ever meet. I don't know exactly how I found God through all I have been through, but I am so glad I have. My life has been anything but easy, and I know God watches me every minute, and I know, once this is over and I work my butt off to make sure I don't end up like my parents, I know he has a present waiting for me at the end of the road. It will be hard, but I am actively making sure to not end up wih the same life my family has chosen. And not until recently did I realize how big of a deal having sex before marriage is. I have made the choice to wait until marriage, not until very very recently did I realize how much that meant. I intend to keep my vow, and I know God is watching, I know He will come though for me. I pray every day, I pray so much in a day, thanking him for everything he has given me to use as tools to make sure I don't end up with a life like my parents. He is only having me suffer now, so I can be stronger when the time is ready. I am about to order my ring, and I know I won't regret it. Thank you Purityrings.com, and God. Our youth group is very focused on purity and abstinence, and each year our purity workshops and ceremony are very well attended. We have made purity rings a part of the presentation since 2000. We have purchased purity rings for all of our grandchildren. In today's world there are so many negative influences and it is so easy to fall victim to it. Our oldest grandson was very sincere about getting a purity ring and we have made it a priority to encourage him and our other grandchildren.
